About this speaker
Dr Graham Tyler is a multi-award-winning clinical neuropsychologist & organisational psychologist based in Asia and working globally. He is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Hong Kong Psychological Society, an Associate Fellow of the HKPS and the British Psychological Society and holds Full Chartered Membership in the BPS Divisions of Neuropsychology and Occupational Psychology.
Graham holds a PhD in Psychology (University of Queensland, Australia), two master's degrees: Clinical Neuropsychology (Macquarie University, Australia) and Organisational Psychology (Nottingham University, UK) and a BSc(Hons) in Psychology from the University of London.
Graham works in neuropsychological consulting and differential diagnosis with a wide range of expertise and interests, including:
• Assessment and differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative, neurovascular and neurological disorders through neuropsychological evaluation
• Brain imaging using neuroradiology, molecular and nuclear medicine for differential diagnosis, rehabilitation planning, prognosis, and surgical pre-habilitation
• Assessment and rehabilitation of cognition following traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including TBI, stroke, epilepsy, hypoxia, meningitis, encephalitis, & brain tumours
• Return-to-work consultation following brain trauma, COVID or neurosurgery
• Decision-making capacity evaluation
• Executive functioning assessment
• Clinical neuropsychology training
In his organisational psychology practice, Graham consults for and trains high-profile and government clients in areas including recruitment and selection, psychometrics, behavioural interviewing, assessment centres, work performance, and cross-cultural applications of organisational psychology. He previously taught Master's programmes at the Universities of Leicester and Sheffield in the UAE & KSA.
While pursuing his PhD, he served as the Global Head of Quality Control for a psychometric test publisher and founded PsyAsia International. He has delivered locally relevant training and consulting across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, collaborating with multinational companies and prominent government entities, such as Singapore's MINDEF, MOE, and the Prime Minister's Office.
Graham has been honoured by the British Psychological Society with an award for Scientific Contribution to Psychology. Under his leadership, PsyAsia International has earned 11 international awards, been nominated for the Asian Enterprise Awards, named Best Psychometric & Business Psychology Consultancy by the Singapore Business Awards, and received the HRD Service Provider Award for Psychometric Assessment.
